As this week is National Apprenticeship week in the UK, we are delighted to introduce our Field Engineer, Jack Chippendale, who is currently undertaking a level 3 Network Cable Installer Apprenticeship alongside our training partner VQ Solutions based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Jack joined our team over a year ago and during this time, he has shown all the key traits of a high calibre Field Engineer that we are accustomed to in our team. To aid Jack’s progression even further, he enrolled on the work-based Apprenticeship as once complete in March 2024, he will be experienced in Health and Safety; Personal Development; Copper Cabling; Testing Telecoms Cables; Fibre Optic Cabling; Investigating and Defining Customer Requirements; Network Equipment; Projects and Network Design; Quality Management and Workflow.
In addition to this, Jack, is also required to pass assessments in the areas of Copper Installation and Fibre Installation, as part of the City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Communications Cabling which forms part of the overall Apprenticeship.
Having successfully passed most of the modules already, this has positively enhanced Jack’s development, progression, and his confidence in his role as Field Engineer. It’s great to see his progression levels exceed as a direct result of his Apprenticeship. Jack is already a valued member of the team, and moving forward, he will continue to develop even further by applying these skills acquired combined with working alongside other Engineers on-site as part of his day-to-day duties.
Well done Jack and keep up the great work!
