Congratulations to Chris Parr the Winner of The Mark Farrar Colleague of the Year Award!

Earlier this year, we launched the Mark Farrar Colleague of the Year Award to recognise the outstanding work carried out by our team members throughout the year.

We’re delighted to announce that, following staff nominations, the Senior Management Team has selected Chris Parr, Warehouse Assembly Supervisor, as the first-ever recipient of the award.

Chris was recognised for consistently going above and beyond, always offering his help with a positive attitude and setting an example for those around him. His nominations highlighted actions such as:

• Supporting colleagues outside his immediate role responsibilities
• Helping train engineers with ladder tagging and equipment checks
• Assisting in the creation of a quarantine area in Unit 11
• Never saying “that’s not my job” and always stepping up with enthusiasm

While these may seem like everyday tasks, it’s Chris’ attitude that stands out, a willingness to help, a desire to learn, and a commitment to embodying the values that define SpliceGroup.

Presenting the award, John Byron, Director of Sales, commended Chris’ dedication to the business and praised his inquisitiveness and drive to expand his knowledge of our operations and products.
