Successful Learning Achievements

Congratulations to two members of the team, Daniel Webb, and Edward Neale, for their recent achievements.

Daniel Webb, one of our Customer Services Manager, has achieved his Prince2 Practioner Certificate in Project Management, awarded by PeopleCert on the 23rd of November. He has been studying alongside his day job for the Prince2 Practioner 6th edition which provides the theoretical knowledge of how to plan, manage and deliver successful and quality projects from start to finish and applying in real world scenarios, under the Splice Skills Scheme launched last September.

Prince2 is a process-based method for effective project management, and provides the fundamental skills needed to become a successful project manager. The new skills which Daniel has learnt during the course, are already being put into practice which is great news. He has both academic and practical skills to ensure that his multiple projects are managed successfully and effectively.

In addition to this, we would also like to congratulate one of our Engineers, Edward Neale, on successfully passing his EPA (End Point Assessment) in Network Cable Installer L3 with a well-deserved distinction awarded by Smart Awards who are an End Point Assessment Organisation.

His course covered interpreting detailed project plans to construct and fix network equipment cabinets, prepare cable pathways, and install cable support and containment systems. He also learnt how to install network equipment in cabinets in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications, including routers, switches, and WAN equipment.

As a company, we aim to support all members of the team with their continuous professional development and encourage them to strive to learn new skills and gain accreditations to help them in their current and future roles with us. The Splice Skills Scheme was launched last year with this aim in mind.

Well done to both Daniel and Edward!
