Department overview:
The department is responsible for ordering/building and shipping materials to customers across the UK and overseas in time and in full to a high standard adapting to ever changing requirements in real time from our customers to spec and to standards set out within our drawings/build of materials.
Role aim:
To assist the warehouse and logistics manager in maintaining the smooth operation of the warehouse, Logistics and assembly depts, responsible for the day-to-day supervision of people in the depts functions, to ensure company targets and objectives are achieved to meet customer requirements, ensuring staff comply with H&S standards and continuous improvements, to deputise for the warehouse and logistics Managers when required.
Responsibilities:
- To make sure all Jobs are despatched on time and in full to the LOB.
- To make sure all deliveries are booked in within 24hrs of arriving on site.
- To make sure all builds are completed on time and closed ready to be shipped.
- To make sure all H&S and procedures are followed during in the above process.
- Deputise for the Warehouse and Logistics Manager when needed.
- Complete cycle counts and stock takes to keep inventory accurate.
Skills and knowledge:
Essential
- Warehouse experience
- Forklift truck Licence
- IT Literate experience with WMS
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 &14001
- Inventory experience
- Ability to lead and motivate
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of completing export docs.

- First Aid Qualifications
- H&S Qualifications
- Full driving licence.
